Ear surgery, or otoplasty, is usually done to set prominent ears back closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears and ear lobes.

For prominent ears, Dr. Ceydeli prefers to sculpture the cartilage of the ear for longer lasting results, instead of simple skin resection.

His preference for correction of the stretched or oversized ear lobes is to create and reorganize fine skin flaps for an aesthetically pleasing result.
