Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Each year many women consult plastic surgeons requesting breast lift for problems they describe as their breasts are too low and droopy, and the nipples point toward their feet. Breasts come in all shapes, sizes, and volumes, and a small amount of saggy posture is acceptable, and may be even within the parameters of normal until it starts affecting one’s self-esteem.

A breast shape is considered ideal when it has a round configuration from the frontal view, a conical profile, superior fullness, firmness, and nipple that points forward, slightly upward and outward, with nipple at or just above the inframammary fold, however the concept of ideal breast shape may differ among the patients, and even among the surgeons.

Dr. Ceydeli strongly believes that the ideal breast shape should be individualized according to patient’s desires and body habitus. He exclusively practices the art of breast surgery, and sculpts beautiful breasts which will blend with one’s chest wall. Dr. Ceydeli is one of the pioneers in aesthetic breast surgery, and has a different concept in making the breasts pretty, whether it is a lift, reduction, or augmentation. Instead of relying on already stretched skin to lift the breast, he internally rearranges the breast tissue itself for a superior and long lasting result. He also performs short-scar technique on most of his patients. This technique gives better projection, more natural looking and rounder breasts, while minimizing the scars.

Dr. Ceydeli’s concepts in aesthetic breast surgery were published in numerous prestigious plastic surgery journals, and he taught his colleagues in national and international meetings to improve the results in aesthetic breast surgery.
